On 3 December, Sue Stoughton writes:
Just in time for the Howlidays
we have the Gift of Cairns from Missouri.
A breeder is surrendering ten furballs to us hopefully later this week; five males and five females.
Two of the males are around five years old, the other eight dogs are two years or under with two of the males under a year.
Gayle is working on foster homes and we think we have six or seven covered, but may need a little help as we are also working three OS.
Details to follow as things progress. These dogs will be taken to Dr. T's for vetting hopefully later this week and transported out of Missouri on the 19th.
AND THEN COMES THE WORD:
The holiday season is full of surprises and Cairn Rescue is no exception. Conversation with the breeder last night resulted in the count being 12, not 10. Apparently she got her numbers confused. All the more reason to consider fostering . . .
GIVE A DOG THE GIFT OF A WARM BED, GOOD FOOD, CLEAN WATER AND, MOST IMPORTANTLY, LOVE . . . EMAIL GAYLE KIESOW HERE FOR INFORMATION.
Believe me, this gift is will be ever so much more satisfying - to give or to receive - than a tie, socks, underwear, or more toys. Or even more diamonds!
To raise funds for these 12 mill survivors, I will print YOUR verse(s) for this song, made Cairn-related, for $5.00 per verse, EVERY PENNY OF WHICH WILL GO TO THESE 12. You can do ONE verse or TWELVE . . . however many you're inspired to do (or pay for).
