MICKY HAS KNEE SURGERY 23 MARCH 2010

After the 2010 CHICAGOLAND PET EXPO, Micky went home with Holly to have knee surgery for a luxating putella. Holly writes: I just called the vet's office and Micky did very well with his surgery today. He is awake and alert in his cage now. I will call tomorrow for an update and they will let me know if I can bring him home tomorrow or if they would like to keep him another day. They were all loving all over him this morning; they all were smitten with him, so I'm certain he is getting excellent care. The next day, Holly writes: Micky seems to be resting fairly comfortably for what he has been through. He is pretty lethargic and had a pain pill about an hour or so ago. He ate well and is drinking plenty of water. He wags his tail when we talk to him, so there is a little bit of the Micky spirit in there tonight.
