TINY TAMMY IN WISCONSIN
MEETS THE SKRENNINGER SIX-PACK

21 DECEMBER 2009

Andréa Denninger writes:

Lynette called me to ask about feeding an obviously-starving dog . . . Tammy weighs a mere SIX POUNDS! Thanks to Maureen Scott of AIRECANADA, I was able to recommend many things, many of which are now included in Colleen's recipe on the previous page.

The next situation was housebreaking. Considering they have all spent their entire lives in rabbit hutches, we knew they wouldn't be housebroken. Easy solution: Doggie Diapers.

After buying a diaper & pads,
Lynette & Tiny Tammy came
over to see if any of the donated
jackets from ATRA (Airedale
Terrier Rescue & Adoption)
would fit; luckily, I had kept
even the smallest, several of
which fit her. Tammy has
probably never experienced
snow, and is cold;
she eats the snow itself,
making her even colder.
Now she is toasty
warm & trés chic, as well!

After Lynette & I finished playing Dress the Dog,
we put the diaper on Tammy, we let her roam
the house to interact with the Skrenninger Six-Pack.

Look how skinny her waistline is . . .

Ph

OOPS! She headed straight for the food bowl!
We'd forgotten how starved these little ones are.

She soon disappeared down the hallway,
finding the other food bowl in my room . . .

But who's this? Why, it's Miss RosieVi the Shy, who
ventured out to see what all the excitement was about!
That is quite unusual for her.

Tammy got along well with all six of the Skrenninger Pack;
she is a delightful little girl, full of affection and curiosity.
After a bit of housetraining and some fattening up,
she'll make someone a wonderful companion.

SHELLY SIMINSKI:

Tammy is a cutie pie! I agree . . . with some good loving, she's gonna be a lovebug for a lucky person.
