On 22 December, Chuck writes:
Archie chewed on Jay's shoe laces.
(Most likely whilst Jay was still wearing the shoes.)
Archie is now barking at "ghosts";
probably noises that he is unfamiliar with.
Jay said the reason Buddy slept on his dog bed by Archie's crate
was to protect me from Archie.
Otherwise things have settled down a bit.
Buddy did go to the dog park as usual today.
Chased his friends around a bit and then came home
and chased and was chased by Archie.
Archie has tried digging under the fence.
We had put down patio blocks along the whole thing and
under the gate to keep my Airedale Beau from escaping.
Works for little Cairns, too. This little guy is a handful.
He and Buddy are having a real blast.
He's fitting in quite nicely. But he deserves his own family.
But for now . . . I think I just heard Archie yell Geronimo!,
followed by a dull thud. Those two are at it again!
A tiny dog working on a big dog's bone . . .
Luckily, Archie has already been placed. He'll have a lovely 2022!
BECKY HAWKINS:
Oh, he is absolutely adorable!
KEN DeKOVEN:
He really is adorable. He'll certainly find his furever home quickly!
MARY BING:
He's a cutie; looks like he wore out his brother.
JACKIE IKE:
What fun! I could not help but laugh . . . so funny and I bet a blast to watch.
JACKIE McGUINNESS

So pleased Archie will have a home of his own for 2022. I think Buddy might miss him a little bit. You do forget how much hard work comes with a pup and how short a time they are pups. LOL.
CHUCK replies:
You're right about how much work comes with a puppy!
He is a cute little stinker though. Buddy loves the heck out of him,
although Archie will get on his last good nerve.
I'm finding bits and pieces from Archie and Buddy's toys
all over the house. Not to mention other no-longer-recognizable bits as well.
Archie realized yesterday that I can be a playmate as well.
I'm just not as fast as I used to be.
