Chuck writes: Archie's battery ran down tonight, so he's passed out in Buddy's bed. He likes to grab my shoes and sleep with them. All tuckered out. If anyone doubts that Buddy actually sheds, the evidence is on the dog bed. I'M AN AIREDALE! WITH CHUCK'S SHOES!

ARCHIE GETS GROOMED! 4 JANUARY 2022
Chuck writes: Archie is at the groomr now getting an overhaul. He's going to feel a draft for sure. Betcha he doesn't dawdle out in the snow anymore!

Buddy sez: You smell all sissified!
5 January: Archie has gone through a personality change with his grooming. It's almost as if he doesn't think he is invincible anymore. He comes up to me and wants to be picked up and rubbed all over. He pays me back with kisses. Shell is now collecting him on Monday [1/10] instead of on the 18th as she can get him in for neutering sooner. 6 January: It's cold this morning . . . Buddy and his buddy. 7 January: I'm kinda enjoying the part where he does his business outside and comes right back in. I go out with him (and Buddy) every time; I keep him on a leash so he doesn't go in snow up to his . . . I wish I could find my small dog sweaters; I put them somewhere where I could find them. Buddy doesn't want to come in until his feet start to freeze. These two are bouncing off the walls, trading bones to chew on and wrestling as usual. Later that day: I found a way to keep Archie warm (and out of trouble): I have an extra large zip-up sweatshirt, I just pop the little guy inside and zip it up. He feels safe and definitely warm and will take a nap. Works for both of us.
