A Ficus Massacre, that's what!

I've been given two opinions on this mess:

They're either ruined, or they'll come back in two to three years.

As I'm basking (and working) in 100-degree heat,
back in Wisconsin, THIS was happening . . .

15 April

COME HOME, MOM! AND BRING SOME SUNSHINE & HEAT WITH YOU!

. . . which made me feel like this . . .

. . . 'cause I wore flipflops for two weeks, and hung up this . . .

For those who wondered:
Yes, I cleared out bathroom and kitchen cupboards
(there was enough food to start a restaurant;
the good stuff went to the Yuma Food Pantry);
gave away all the clothes to a charity shop,
and put most everything else outside,
where it was all taken away within hours
(there is a LOT of poverty in Yuma, with 33% unemployment)

For those who asked:
Yes, I did smudge the house, yard,
garage & car after all my dad's clothes & chair were gone.
See HERE and HERE for how I did it,
with sage provided by my friend DEB WIERSUM and
advice from DOREEN MUNDIE and BEV and her Indian friends
at Brownie's Café, Yuma (where I ate every day).
I do think it helped,
as did rearranging the furniture to allow
better flow of energy through the house.

I plan to return on 4 May to continue the clearing out,
which I estimate will take a year, on and off
(I've not even BEGUN the storage closets,
as there are few basements in Arizona,
so things are crammed into closets and an attic above the garage);
only then can we decide what to do: Keep and remodel, or sell.

I RETURN AND MAKE THE FINAL DECISION HERE
