EVERYthing in this house is in shades of white.
I kid you not! For some "color,"
there are shades of beige & brown.
Even the dishes & towels are beige & white.
I bought some colorful (plastic . . .
who in his/her right mind would have ceramic dishes
& glass glasses with a TILED kitchen floor?
NOT ME!) dishes & glasses at Walgreens for a buck apiece.
Neal sent two "DRINK WEAR" attachable coasters from MARGARITAVILLE,
so I've been serving "wine" (ginger ale) in the glasses . . .
my Dad has actually found this amusing, surprisingly enough.
It's as tho he hasn't had anything to laugh at for years . . .
. . . anyway, I keep the counter set up for whenever
he takes a fancy to eating something.
The placemats are new, too.
The c*t is learning to join us at mealtimes.
I'm gonna make him into a dog yet
(just don't tell the Skrenninger Six-Pack
that we feed the c*t food from the table,
or I'll never hear the end of it!).
Yes, he could spend $700 on the c*t for surgery,
but leave the chair covers torn. THAT'S not gonna last long!
