Maddy (front) & Bob
This is Bob's version of a "hug": He jumped up on the couch and put his paw over her and sat behind her for a while last night.
I have an appointment for her dental work on Friday. She is eating better and drinking water, but she still doesn't venture out very far. She will run across the yard, but you have to "take" her outside, she doesn't just follow the others.
She has made some progress coming out of her crate on her own, and will scratch like crazy to get out in the morning or when I get home from work, but she tends to sit in the back and shake. I eventually get her to come out, but sometimes it takes longer than other times.
If I don't shut all the crate doors after she's outside, she comes right back in and wants to go back into the crate. If they are closed, she will follow all of us upstairs on her own. Then she just stands in the middle of the floor until I coax her over to the couch. She lies on the couch or my lap most of the time.
Bob has been checking her out recently and cleaning her ears & her eyes. She tolerates it pretty well. If I get up and walk out of the room, she will come to the end of the couch and when she sees me, will wag her tail and come towards me. She's made some progress, but it seems like first thing in the morning, it's right back to where we started.
Her temperament is still really good . . . she sits still for ear drops and for getting the gunk out of her eyes.
I'll try to get some pics of her teeth Friday morning at the vet.
