Look, I do have a tail; I had just chosen to keep it hidden all this time! Mommy took me to the vet today; he is an interesting person (he touched me all over, just so all my other puppy pals are warned). Dr. Dickinson said he could tell mommy had been taking really good care of me.
The bad news is that my ears are so scarred the thickened cartilage will never get any better. Good news is the ear canal is looking better (thanks to all that icky medicine they keep putting in there). Second bad news is that I have some teeth that have to be removed and have my teeth cleaned. Dr. Dickinson is going to take care of that for me next Tuesday; hopefully by then, I have a little more weight on me an healthier. Whatever this is they feed us at the Parker house is yummy!!! (Doc said egg, cottage cheese
with the special dog food mommy buys will help). I get better food than mom and pops.
I now follow my other sisters to the door when dad gets home; I won't let him get close but he can look and see how cute I am! I will let everyone know how I am doing after my teeth extractions.

BJ is back home now, doing well. Got the bad teeth out; they had to do a super cleaning on her teeth. She already ate a little and went potty . . . got her pain medication. The hair is starting to come back on her nose!

Mom took me to the vet and got my mouth fixed up. I am still taking pain medication since they had to pull some toothers. I am feeling good though; I run through the house with my sisters and follow mom around all over the house. I still am afraid when she tries to pet me, but I like to watch her a lot.
Thought you all might like to see where the hair is growing back on my nose. If you look at the pictures from before you can see I am getting much better . . . I have even gained a little weight.
My thanks to everyone who has donated to my care. You all have already spent over $350 on me! Being from the puppy mill, I never would have dreamed a human could care that much for me.
We are waiting to see if my limp goes away, I favor my hip a little but does not seem to be as bad as when I first got here.
Sorry I did not update sooner, but mom said I was stoned after my vet visit. Dr. Dickenson did blood work on me and all my blood work came back normal, no liver or kidney problems with this gal!
Thanks to everyone who has helped me and got me out of that horrible place and have moved me around and taken care of me.
