Look! Some of the hair is starting to grow on my ears!

She does not like the spray of water. I found that out the hard way: she tried to take my hand off and the sprayer which was just one of those faucet attachments for showering & washing your hair. But if you just pour the water over her from a plastic cup she doesn't seem to mind that. I gave her first bath from the mill. She is looking so great, I think I cried the whole time I was bathing her, mainly because of her poor ears. How is clearing the infection coming along? Give her a hug for me.
Auntie Peggy as BJ Kelley calls me.
Linette replies:
She is doing really well . . . her ears are always going to be scarred, according to the vet. However, she is growing hair on her nose & ears . . .spotty but hair nonetheless. She is not scratching so badly as her skin seems to be improving. I think she is slowly beginnning to accept the baths as all my other babies get them, too, so she sees that its not so bad. She had her dental and bad toothies removed this week and has bounced back very well from that . . . so now it's time for attention and lots of love.
Thanks for that first bath! I am sure she needed it . . . she still has a smell but that will go away over time as she gets healthier.

I found this today! I noticed my foster sisters love these things. So this morning when mom was not looking I got in one of them . . . they are really soft and cushy! IF you look closely, you can see the hair that is growing on my nose and how shiny my coat is becoming. This living-in-the-house existence is great. Running around the house with my sisters and playing with toys are becoming my favorite things. I am still afraid of my foster mom, but I do follow her around all over the house . . . maybe one day I will let her pet
