POST-OP DAY 9

Eyes Closed: 21 March, 7:31 a.m.
Eyes Open: 21 March, 7:31 a.m.
COMMENTS:
* I find that a sunny day like yesterday, when I feel the sunlight coming into my eyes, leads to a sleepy day like today, when my eyes are tired. Good thing I can nap and rest my eyes whenever I want to.
* As the First Snowfall of Spring buries us, DH Neal is packing to leave for Grand Turks. If the aireport is open. Luckily, I only have to drive him to Manta Divers, about a mile away. Even though I can see better each day, I don't think I would have been up for driving to Chicago. In the snow. On an Under Construction highway. In the dark. Did I mention snow? About 8" of the heavy packy kind. Getting the dive bags into the Aztek and then getting out of the driveway will be a challenge in and of itself, in about three hours (as I am writing this at 2:17 p.m.)
Eyes Closed: 21 March, 9:58 p.m.
Eyes Open: 21 March, 9:58 p.m.
COMMENTS:
* We made it to the dive shop; the dive group made it to O'Hare Aireport in Chicago. All is well, although buried in about 10" of snow.
