THE FIRST MORNING
22 DEEMBER
| |
This is how they slept all night . . .
. . . and a squirt of whipping cream as a reward for sleeping all night.
On 22 December, I wrote to Pam:
At 7:05 a.m., Saturday 22 December, Sallee's tail was waggin', and UP!
That's 'cause I picked up Rico and she wanted up, too . . . no dice - Rico's turn. wagwagwagwag
She's 'found' her spot to sleep . . . RosieVi's 'Paw Cushion', right in front of the water/food bowls. It took a good 15 minutes of closing her eyes with her head up, but she FINALLY let her head fall onto the cushion and she's now asleep - until I get up.
I put them all out this a.m., and then 'hid' so she couldn't see me, although I could see her. She gave up trying to get in the door and pacing on the patio steps, went down the three steps, pee'd on the deck, and then right back up again. At least she pee'd OUTSIDE, and her diaper's been dry and unspotted since I put it on when she came yesterday
Later . . .
Sallee's been on Neal's bed for over two hours (he's reading), while I've been in and out of the room, walking around the house, working in my own room . . . she and Daisy and Neal . . . no more following me around so that I literally TRIP over her, as was how she was earlier this morning . . .
And another sleepyheads picture . . .
