BOB MOVES TO IOWA

I have Bob because we had a change in plans at the last minute;
he came to me instead of to BJ. He is very afraid of people,
not super friendly around other dogs. BJ has her five and
three fosters right now, two of which are wild little puppies.
My fosters left on Saturday and I just have my three middle-aged/quiet ones.
On Thursday, Bill Schumacher flew from Chicago to LA,
picked up Bob, and flew back to Chicago.

On Saturday,
my husband I
met Bill just outside of
Davenport, Iowa,
picked up Bob and
brought him to our home.
He is still very timid,
so we are giving some space.
We know he has lots
of new things to get used to.
We got snow last night
and our California boy
does not seem impressed.
Bill will be flying back to LA
very soon to pick up Katie.

Our temporary foster
had some issues,
so the dogs have been
boarded at a vet office
for a couple of weeks.
That's going to be
a steep bill!
They are so worth it though.
They really need the
rehabilitate part
of our motto, rescue,
rehabilitate, rehome.
They are so timid
and afraid of people,
they would not have been
successfully adopted by
someone without rescue
experience. I will send
more updates as we go along.

SUSAN WHITMAN-MAZZUCKELLI:
Those poor pups. I wish the cops could shut that puppy mill down in California and get the rest of the 25-30 dogs away from those two abusers. I'm glad they will be in a quiet safe place. God bless you all.
