We enjoyed Bob's retirement party even if it was by cybermail - wish him the very best retirement from us in England.

Congratulations on the beginning of your retirement life!
While I was at Reuther, I appreciated the witty, uplifting sense of humor and dedicated support you gave to all faculty needs and issues.

I have treasured your art clips. Your 1997 edition Holiday Santa is signaling, "You're #1", as your grandson Mykel would say for sure!

Steve & I enjoyed working with you during the St. Mark Country Faire days. We now hope some of our gandchildren will meet you at the Kenosha Public Museum, where the next generation can benefit from your art class and your inspiring style.
Steve & I extend best wishes and God's blessings for a healthy, happy retirement life.

. . . thank you for all of your help over the last three years. You have definitely made my experience at Reuther a much more enjoyable one. I could not have asked for better support from you & Andréa these last few years. My only regret is that I wasn't at Reuther longer with you. I have talked to so many students about how much you positively affected their lives at Reuther. You really made a significant difference for students & staff members.
Thanks for all of your help and I hope my career will be as distinguished & meaningful as yours.

To BobOurHero - Honorary Wombat - Honorary Airedale
It's true we've never met, but it's also true that without your genius for recognising another genius in Andréa, our Little Forrest Wombat would not have become the World's Most-Loved Wombat.
Little Forrest Wombat has a webpage all his own here - thanks to Andréa & BobHerBoss.
We know that for a guy like you, retirement will probably mean that you will do as much as ever, but perhaps in other directions.
Whatever you do in the coming days & years, never forget that there are hundreds, many hundreds of us, whose hearts have been touched by your huge & generous heart.
We know this because time after time, Andréa has created webmagic (always with acknowledgement to BobMyBoss) and in a flash, a story, an appeal, a call to awareness, a cry for help, ricochets around the world and we are joined together as people who care about others, and who care especially about animals (and dare I say it) especially about Airedale Terriers.
The Airedale world is the closest community imaginable, stretching from hemisphere to hemisphere & through every time zone. If it sounds like I am off track, mixing up Wombats & Airedales & Andréa & BobHerBoss . . . no, I am not. And although we know that from now on, Andréa & BMB won't be quite the same team, you are still as one, and we are forever grateful.
So, from way down here in the bottom (almost) corner of southeastern Australia, we tip our black & tan lids to you, along with the cry 'Run, Forrest, Runnnnnnnnnnnn'.
