Bob,
I'm not sure what words to use to describe what you have taught me in the four years I've worked with you at Reuther. Your patience, kindness, knowledge and sharing personality have affected so many people. I'm glad that I am one of them. Your retirement is our loss at Reuther, but the leisure life will become part of you; just ask Nancy Kaye. I always loved seeing the little characters and drawings you make; maybe that's your next venture - you'll be famous. What ever you do, enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!

The years that I have spent working with Bob have been some of the best years of my teaching career. Bob's sunny disposition, day in and day out, has made some of my most challenging days tolerable. He was always willing to record a program or, in many cases, multiple programs, for me, his "VCR illiterate" colleague, which in turn made my job easier. He always made the effort to help me enlarge or reduce work on the copy machine, even when he was up to his eyeballs in work he needed to get done.
Bob made me feel welcome wherever we were together, and is truly a "gentle man". I will miss his cheery smile and "good morning" greeting, his enabling me to have beautiful books in the Library for my students' use, as well as my use, and his running some of the best football pools!

Best wishes, Bob, on the next part of your life. It won't be the same here without you!

Bob My Lunch Buddy,
Lunches just won't be the same without you! Since my first day at Reuther, 11 years ago, you made me feel welcome. You have "saved" me more times than I can count by providing needed AV equipment for meetings and always with a smile.
Bob, thanks for being such a great co-worker and friend.

Bob,
You will never know how much your kind face & words meant to me over the years we worked together. Your attitude towards your fellow workers & students always made me envious. And of course, my 20 years with Tigger I owe to you. I'm enjoying my retirement and I know you will, once you get over the shock of not having to get up early every day and go to work. Hopefully, you & Karen will enjoy this new phase of your life and take advantage of it.
All my love to you,

Bob is the nicest man I've ever met. Always smiling & whistling. I have never seen him mad. Whenever I needed something from him, he wouldn't hesitate to help me at all times.
I'm really going to miss him!
Good luck, Bob. Please stay in touch.
