On 27 February, FosterDad Andy Castleberry in Maryland writes: BB wears the collar for two reasons: first for the belly lesions and so he does not lick then. The second is for his eyes, so he does not obsessively scratch & rub them while we figure out what is wrong. These new collars would not help the latter very well as he runs at an angle against the furniture to scratch his eyes. I do have some good news - that the vet said yesterday that she would like him to have more time off the collar when he can have constant supervision. He is doing well with it and taking verbal correction when he starts to lick or scratch. He does get sneaky and after being told NO last night, he stopped and took a few steps behind a chair so I could not see him, then resumed.
