BOO BOO'S CRISIS CONTINUES 26 MARCH 2008

FosterDad Andy writes: Boo Boo was seen by a specialist during his latest week stay at the doctor. He has been ordered off all antibiotics for one week. Then he will have a biopsy of his tissue done and that will be tested. Up until now, we have only tested the discharge and not the tissue. We are hopeful this will finally give the doctor's the answers to which antibiotics will work. Boo Boo's original vet, while he was with his first family, has now been in contact with our vet. Our doc now knows which type of stitches not to use on Boo Boo, not that this was for sure the cause but why risk it. We also did a full blood work-up and there were no immune deficiencies, including diabetes, found. He is now home waiting for the biopsy. His belly is still in bad shape. Another similar type wound appeared on his shoulder; I just found three more lumps in his chest area. They extracted the lumps before and they don't appear to be tumors or anything of that nature; everyone suspects they are part of this infection.
