Now that we're home, bathed, settled and fed, All nicely tucked in our warm new beds. We'd like to open our baggage Lest we forget, There is so much to carry - So much to regret. Hmm . . . Yes there it is, right on the top - Let's unpack Loneliness, Heartache and Loss, And there by our leashes hide Fear and Shame. As we look on these things wetried so hard to leave - We still have to unpack our baggage called Pain. W loved them, the others, the ones who left us, But we weren't good enough - for they didn't want us. Will you add to our baggage? Will you help us unpack? Or will you just look at our things And take us right back? Do you have the time to help us unpack? To put away our baggage, To never re-pack?
