BUDDY WINS A HOWLOWEEN

GRAND

29 & 31 OCTOBER 2016

Saturday morning, Buddy again refused to eat.
I returned to the Vet Clinic to pick up some different food to try.

There was a party goin' on! The Vet Clinic of Palm Harbor Open House.

Not being a party person, I bought my height in raffle tickets
and went home to try to convince Buddy to eat.

On Monday, Buddy went in for his SQ fluid therapy; he'd gained .2 pounds.

As we were leaving, Traci came out to see if we were still there
'cause my name was picked for the GRAND PRIZE!

Of course, Buddy gets the credit (if not the gift cards);
if not for him, I'd not have been there to buy the tickets.

The basket looks too pretty to take apart,
but there seem to be some interesting items in there.
Of course, the c* things will go to SweeTea's Auntie Liz.

(No, he isn't falling asleep; he does this WHENEVER
I take pics of him . . . maybe the flash is too bright?)

Thanks to the doctors and staff of Vet Clinic of Palm Harbor!
AND WE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TO DO ANY TRICKS FOR THESE TREATS!

It was one year ago on this same day that CRUSA Rescue RosieVi the Shy (@ RB)
won the FaceBook Costume Contest, which can be seen HERE.
Her photo still looks over us when we visit the Vet Clinic of Palm Harbor.

BOB ANDERSON:
Congrats! Way to go Buddy! Nice picture, too. .2 pounds is an achievement, anyway.

2 NOVEMBER 2016

I was finally able to obtain and bring in a urine sample for Buddy;
the good news is that there is NO infection present.

He had his ninth SQ Fluid Therapy today; his weight is the same.
On Friday, he will have the last one from this bag; at that time,
we will decide whether to continue it, increase the frequency,
or cease the treatment.

He is not eating most of the meals;
however, he has decided that HouseGuest TEDDIE FROM TAMPA's
Nutro food (canned and kibble) is JUST the thing. At this stage,
he can eat what he wants; no point in saving his kidneys just to starve him,
as he will NOT eat the K/D food (most of which I returned for credit).

Having written that, of course, is no guarantee that he will eat
this food again tomorrow . . . he seems to change his mind
constantly about what, where and how to eat.
He is taking two anti-nausea pills, to no avail.
But I will persevere!
