Gadget is doing well. I was pretty excited because we hadn't had any accidents in the house. I put her in her crate Sunday when we went to church. I put her out when we came home. We decided to go out to eat and I didn't want to put her back in her crate again, so I put her bloomers on her. I wish I had put her in her crate because when we came home she was soaked. If I had crated her, I would have put her out when we got back and she would have gone outside. Oh well, live & learn.
The barking. She is a barker. She responds to me if I say NO. I do have a can with pennies in it I am going to start using when she barks. I used it on Sprocket, but we were never able to stop his barking. I forgot about using the spray bottle, thanks for the reminder. I have a bottle of bitter apple spray that I use on Sprocket once in a while when I can't stand the barking anymore.
I am feeding her in her crate most of the time. She is a quick one. Larry was giving the dogs their heartworm meds last week and I don't think he was aware of how quick she is and what a little thief she is. I walked in the room just in time to see her eating Sprocket's pill, too. That means she ate two $10 pills and got a double dose. I called the 800 number on the Novartis box and talked to them. They said the extra dose shouldn't hurt her; just maybe make her lethargic and possible stomach upset. She did just fine, just a little loose stool.
I won a tee shirt for donating to the CRUSA heartworm fundraiser [which can be seen HERE]. I needed a good picture of the dogs for the tee shirt. We tried to get some pictures of them running around in the yard but she moves too fast.
Look, Sprocket, they are taking our picture.
Gadget, I think they want us to smile.
Maybe if just look cute they will take the picture and go away.
I think I look cute here; what do you think, Sprocket? Do you feel cute?
The humans only brought out one toy;
Where did it go? I don't see it, do you?
I found it, Gadget. It's mine . . . all mine.
Ha, Ha, now I have it and I move like the wind;
