BAILEY'S LIFE AT HOME 21 OCTOBER 2016-4 FEBRUARY 2017
On 21 October, Patricia writes: Our dog sitter taught Bailey to fetch. He was trying to figure out ways to get all three to exercise while we were gone and found that ball. Zooey was chasing lizards and digging, Booker was standing and barking at the back fence and Bailey chased a ball. Bailey is becoming so much more confident. His hair has grown and he's is just a Goldilocks, as Henry calls him. 31 October: Ever since we were away last weekend, Bailey has become such a dog. He loves roaming the whole backyard, barking at strange noises. He doesn't even know where I am. He brings his ball to play chase. He lies on the ground under the swing or at our feet, not on my lap, and he engages with the other two. Unfortunately, both he and Booker have to wear belly bands. Can't trust them. But I'm happy to see Bailey become more independent and less clingy. He is one pretty boy with his hair long.

December: Bailey with new hairstyle; Terri at Petco, Charlotte [Anderson]'s groomer, did a great job on Bailey You used to tell him to put his ears up because he was so much cuter that way. As he becomes more secure here, he's becoming more Cairn-like and adorable, if that is possible. 16 December: Three Cairns ready for our holiday weather: Booker, Bailey and Zooey
	On 5 January 2017, Bailey (and Patricia) and Jackie Ike came for a playdate with the Skrenninger Quartet and TEDDIE FROM TAMPA, who was vacationing at the Skrenninger Resort, Palm Harbor. Look at him smiling for the camera!
	4 FEBRUARY: I sent this to Patricia, who replied: That is sweet! Bailey crawls into my lap every day and wants to hear the story as he is rocked.
12 FEBRUARY: BAILEY'S NEW PASSION I pulled out Max's old rubber balls and Bailey loves chasing them as long as I kick them - no throwing. You can see him playing HERE and HERE And after a hard day of playing . . . . . . although he is more of a SLURPER. When Bailey SLURPS you, you know you've been SLURPED!
