SUNDAY, 15 MAY, 7:24 a.m.: OLLY OLLY OXEN FREE!

Last one in this morning. Slept under my arm again.
Dry belly band since he arrived. Weird, isn't it?
Hasn't marked in house. Booker, on the other hand, filled two yesterday.

Ph

BREAKFAST? WHIPPING CREAM? TREATS? WAIT FOR ME!

7:37 a.m.:

Galootie Gus is an armpit sleeper. And yes, I did dream,
but am having a hard time remembering what I dreamed.
Weird, I can always remember what I dreamt. I know it had Gus in it . . . .

I had written:

He has much more activity at your house, with two people,
only two other dogs, and being walked and going to your Mom''s.
Nothing like that happens here.

7:41 a.m.:

The adjustable galoot. He is timid but that will fade with time and security.
Yes, he is moving around. Always someone going in and out.
Walks are big here. We use them as our exercise and the dogs use them
as a way to spread their scent around the neighborhood.

You should have seen Buster on his walk with Booker yesterday!
It was like a lightbulb went off in his brain. Oh! This is how we do this.
I gave him a shorter leash for control. Buster reluctantly started to walk
and then ran to catch up with Booker and trotted alongside of him with his tail wagging.
It was the best walk yet. He's still timid around the leash
and doesn't care for a halter on him.
Actually he doesn't like anything touching his body.
Breakfast time!

I had written:

He is a HAPPY BOY with you!
Probably less stressful with only two dogs to contend with,
and neither of them pick pick pick pick pick on him like SweeTea did . . .
Does he investigate the yard, or stick by you or the door to come inside?

7:48 a.m.

He left me and walked to the 'pond' to investigate,
even going out of my sight. He saw Booker wandering around so he tried it.
He's watching Booker all the time. Last night Booker left the area
and Buster was going all over the couch looking for him.
Booker finally came back into the dining room and
Buster jumped on the back of the couch and watched him.
Buster likes Booker. Booker is getting a big head with an admirer.

9:15 a.m.

He likes to lie across me and he hasn't tried to lick my face yet.
He's much better about putting his feet on my legs, too.
He's really good at transferring what he learned at your house to here.

10:57 a.m.

We just finished a one-mile walk with all three.
Buster would walk great then circle around Booker and me . . .

MUTTS

. . . then walk straight again. Zooey made the walk too,
slower than we did, but she walked it.

THE WEEKEND GETAWAY CONTINUES . . . HERE
WITH A SURPRISE ENDING!
