This latest version of the ground-breaking Broadway hit is packed with star-studded names such as Queen Latifah, Mary J. Blige and David Alan Grier. But perhaps the brightest star of all is none other than Cairn Rescue USA's very own Scooter! Scooter with Shanice Williiams (Dorothy) Scooter and his mate, Rocky (n/k/a Ralphie), were a pair of owner surrenders who came into CRUSA earlier this year and were subsequently adopted by Tony-award-winning animal trainer, Bill Berloni, who saw in their scruffy little faces true star potential. Wonder what the kids' previous retired owners think of the boys now?? I'm so happy they have a wonderful and loved life now. CAMILLE PATRIDGE: That is very cool! I had already planned to record "The Wiz," but now when Dorothy says, " Run, Toto, run! " , I' ll be thinking, " Run, Scooter, Run! " Bless that trainer for seeing those bright terrier faces and recognizing the incredible potential those two boys have, and giving them a home to fulfill it!
