On Saturday, 12 December, Cari celebrated her First Birthday, and her Six-Month Anniversary of living with us. We, the other Dogs & Hoomins in our house, would like to thank Tina Westphal & Vern Wienke for rescuing her and allowing her to join our family. She has found her niche in our household (basically, she runs it), and we are as grateful for her as she is for us.

Assisting in the preparation of Frosty Paws & whipped cream in our yet-to-be-finished kitchen.

Putting on the party hats . . .

"See, Cari. THIS is how a Birthday Hat is worn - with pride!"

"Sheesh, Cari, get with the program. Just let them take a photo of you wearing that silly hat and we can get on to the Frosty Paws!"

Looking silly . . .

. . . and kinda grouchy: "Are we having FUN yet?"

Here come da Frosty Paws (that's the Dogs's Howliday Tree we're walking past) . . .

"OHBOYOHBOYOHBOYOHBOY!!"

. . . FINALLY bringing out the treats (notice we lost the party hats) . . .

. . . doing a BIRTHDAYHAPPYDANCE . . .

. . . scarfing down the Frosty Paws . . .

. . . D'ya think Misha even TASTED hers?

(That white spot on her head is a $4.99 price tag . . . I was wrapping Howliday gifts and she ended up wearing that one . . .)

"Whew! Birthdays sure are tiring - I'm glad I only have to celebrate one a year . . . and Misha's . . . and April's . . . and . . . zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"

My thanks to Bob Anderson for the use of the digital camera, and to Mr. Scuba/Vetteman, for learning how to use it and taking these photos. I sure like the convenience and speed of that digital camera!
