Sleeping Stoplight Parrotfish from above
At night, parrotfish put themselves in a transparent cocoon or "sleep sack" . . .
. . . created from their own mucus, to hide their scent.
They can only make one per night . . .
. . . so it's crucial not to wake/chase them out of their bed . . .
. . . lest they get stressed and live shorter lives,
logarithmically affecting the population on the reef.

under shelves & wharves during the day.
