A Cayman Brac Curly-tailed Lizard, a/k/a Lion Lizard. His tail looks stubby, but it's actually curled up.
The Bat's Cave (One lonely bat lives in this cave?) I know that "drippy" rock formations like these form only in a sealed moist cave. So, at one time, this bit of Cayman Brac was part of a larger cave. (Or that one lonely bat is producing a LOT of guano!) Lisa ponders the cave and wishes we'd thought to bring our dive lights . . . . . . not packed 'em up for flying home. And I was right: Here's the "Official Explanation" . . .
