We visited the Parrot Preserve and were completely surrounded by NO parrots. One person who's been coming to the Island for over 20 years has seen parrots three times . . . . . . but a friend of his had been there maybe seven times and seen them each trip. Go figure! We did see lots of "free range" chickens . . . . . . so many that we had to stop the car and take some photos. (I never quite imagined chickens as 'shore' birds.) Waiting for the Bar-B-Q Friday night I was too busy eating and it was too dark to take any pictures of the actual food. Food through our entire stay was phenomenal, however, with a Five-Star Chef for all meals.
