At 8:00 a.m., Katie writes: DROP OFF COMPLETE

Charlie must be anxious about his surgery,
because he decided to wake me up extra early today.
He didn't want to look at me for pics when I dropped him off,
but [he] loves the staff. He is last on the list for surgery and
I should hear how it went later this afternoon.

Please keep him in your thoughts & prayers today.

At 2:15, Katie writes:

I just got a call from the vet and Charlie's surgery went well!
His hip is fixed and his testicles were snipped.

At 8:45, Katie writes:

I just had a quick call with Dr C over at Kenosha Animal Hospital
and Charlie is doing great! He said the surgery was long and difficult,
but he was very happy with how it went and the post-op x-rays look great!
He did tell me he wants to keep Charlie another night,
so I'm a bit bummed he won't be coming home tonight,
but I also want what's best for him
(it will be nice to not stand out in the cold with him, too).
Thank you all for the support and prayers.

Whilst at the vet with Heather & Rosie
today for their laser treatments,
I visited Charlie and he looks wonderful;
sleepy, but wonderful.

He will be staying one more night and go home Friday.
