Notice the inflammation of the gums;
this will recede in time, as she is taking antibiotics.

Dr. Hathaway, of the Vet Clinic of Palm Harbor, writes:

Radiograph of maxillary incisors
showing moderate-to-severe horizontal and vertical bone loss.

Ph

Many of these teeth were loose and had deep pockets, requiring extraction today.

Radiograph of maxillary premolar and molars.

Ph

These teeth had very mild horizontal bone loss and were deep cleaned today.

Radiograph of mandibular incisors and portion of mandibular canines.

Ph

These lower incisors also had varying degrees of bone loss
and the middle two were loose and required extraction today.

Radiograph of mandibular premolars and molars.

Ph

This radiograph shows healthy teeth, well-seated within the jaw bone.
All of these were cleaned and polished today.

30 JUNE

The urinalysis showed a slight infection, but with the
antibiotics being taken post-op, this should clear up.

1 JULY

Chloe's recheck today showed all her sutures healing well.

For the first time since she came here, I actually SAW her pooping,
so I was able to bring in a fecal sample, which was negative.

Her ears are doing nicely, also. And everyone at the clinic loved her,
including those in the waiting room. Chloe was so good,
I took her to lunch at Flapjacks, where we sat outside
and she greeted passersby, who noted what a GOOD GIRL she was!

She is continuing her antibiotic for teeth, ears and urinary infection,
but no more Tramadol. She has also 'laid claim' at least once
to every chair and couch in the house, even the two that moved
when she got on them - no scaredy-dog, she!
Her fave is still the wicker couch where she can see what's goin' on
thru the entire house, almost. And no accidents.

12 JULY

I called Chloe's previous vet to obtain a DOB;
it was given as 13 February 2009, which makes her SEVEN years old,
rather than nine as we thought earlier.

ALSO, TODAY SHE PICKED UP A TOY FOR THE FIRST TIME!
