CHLOE GOES HOME!

19 JULY 2016

First, two more pics . . .

16 JULY

It's not enough that Chloe has three couches, five chairs,
two beds, four crates and and six dog beds to sit on . . .
she decided that sitting on the table would be a good idea, too.

Ph

But doesn't she look cute??

17 JULY

When she finally decided to play with a toy,
Chloe focused on Heather's favorite, her "baby".

Ph

Heather is patient, tho, and will lie in wait 'til Chloe tires of it,
then grabs it and takes it back to the couch or hides it in a crate.

SO . . . remember my first Florida Foster, Sam, f/k/a SAMMY IN FLORIDA
(whose story can be read HERE)?

Sam STILL will not face the camera!

Ph

After a day at the groomer, he's a grumpy ol' man.

Scott, Sam's Dad,
thought he might be
interested in Chloe,
so tonight I brought her
to a Meet 'N' Greet
with Scott & Sam . . .
. . . which became a
Meet 'N' Stay!

Ph

First time I've seen her smile . . .

Ph

. . . she already looks at home with Scott

Ph

Samuel just walked around, muttering under his breath . . .

Ph

I'm sure they'll become friends soon,
and maybe even learn to play together.
When Chloe went out in the yard, she ran around like crazy,
more than she'd ever run here, which was a good sign.

Both dogs immediately pooped, of course.

Samuel doesn't like to be handled,
whereas Chloe LOVES to be tummy-
rubbed, so she and Scott and Sam make
a great trio.

Tomorrow, they will be driving to
Scott's boat in the Carolinas,
to vacation for a few weeks.

I think this will be a good
distraction for Chloe,
who was probably bored
in this quiet household
of six dogs, one person and no kids.

She was here for exactly one month.
Chloe, and CRUSA, would like to thank
all those who donated to help Chloe
get ready for her new life;
Dr. Hathaway and the staff
of The Vet Clinic of Palm Harbor
for their care of and for Chloe;
and Peggy of Groomingdale's
for making her look so beautiful.

BJ ISAACS:
[Scott]'s in love. I started laughing listening to him . . . loved it! Thanks again for fostering her!
Loved, loved, loved these pics!

On 20 July, SCOTT writes:

Chloe had a good night! Slept in the bed with me
and then off to NC at 5 a.m.

TRACIE COTTON:
Chloe is such a cutie! Looks like she's definitely found her home!
Sam will come around, I'm sure!

JACKIE IKE:
It is great that Chloe was such a hit at her new home.
Hope she does well with her new family!

On 22 July, it dawned on me . . .

. . . that as Chloe had spent her entire life with males -
four boychildren and their dad - maybe THAT's why
she was so excited when she met Scott; a MAN in her life again!
Hadn't been one for the past month.

Scott writes:

She is doing great! Walking on a leash needs some work,
but Sam was the same way at first.
