On 19 December, Shell Lewis, VP of Foster Homes for RUSA, writes: Two airns in Wisconsin
Got a call this afternoon from Harris Animal Hospital which has done some of the vetting for us on our Wisconsin fosters. Randall picked up two strays - a boy & a girl - and held them for 12 days. There were notices in the paper - nothing. They are now at Harris Animal Hospital, who is willing to hang onto them for a couple of days.
Andréa . . . do you think you might be able to go over there tomorrow and get a picture of these guys?
Pam . . . any chance you'd consider fostering the little girl? They think she's two and they think the boy is around five. Val at the clinic reports that both dogs are very friendly, very good with each other as well as with the other dogs at the practice.
When I arrived the next day, I found two very scraggly strays, already named Noelle & St. Nick, as the Howlidays were almost upon us. Both dogs were friendly . . . and definitely airn Terriers.
Noelle
Plans were for them to be spayed & neutered the next day and,
upon CRUSA's approval, taken into our foster program.
St. Nick
