NOELLE GOES HOME

Pam writes:
Tonight we took Noelle to her new family - her Cairn sister, Missy, wagged her tail in greeting. Her new Mom held her close for the first time and her new Dad - or Grandpa - knew that all would be fine.
It was very difficult to let her go, and I had prepared myself to be the fool I sometimes am when I hand off a dog that has left deeper paw prints than most. However, knowing how very anxious the new furever family was to get her and to begin absorbing her into their family, and seeing how much they were going to love her, there were no tears at all. There was just joy that one more little one has found where she should be . . .
Another Rescue Success Story, Thanks to CRUSA!
Now that I'm home, bathed, settled and fed,
Hmm . . . Yes there it is, right on the top -
I loved them, the others, the ones who left me,
Do you have the time to help me unpack?
-- Evelyn Colbath
With that, and with getting a note from St. Nick's/Winston's new family, this chapter of their marvelous adventure comes to a close. Now they can begin living happily ever after . . . just as we planned they would.
