Bill & Misty say goodbye to their first CRUSA rescue . . .
Carol:
We are home and have a blowup collar and a harness for a safe trip to the vet.
Chuck ate a great dinner and spent time in the yard walking around.
His tail was really wagging as he met the girls.
No pics yet because I was really watching closely.
Hopefully he will rest well tonight after the stress of today.
He loves to be outside and didn't want to come in.
He will have a washcloth wash down and maybe a foot soak.
He will get a walk before bedtime and be ready for the vet tomorrow.
Wish the vet to have a clear idea of how best to treat his multiple health concerns
so he can be happy and healthy and learn what it is like to be
a cherished family member.
Bill:
Yay! Food and love seem to be really helping him already.
So he'll learn the latter of those no matter his health concerns,
which are hopefully less serious than we imagine.
Sleepy puppy. So much excitement.
As Chuck falls asleep,
he is thanking everyone from CRUSA for their donations
to his healthy future, and Shell, William, Misty & Carol
for their caring ways.
