Results: Two lipomas; neither need treatment.
Luxating patella on right side; left side ok.
Weighs in at 24.5 pounds, so she has lost .5 pound
in a week of good dog food, no people food, & twice-daily walks.
Needs to lose 9.5 pounds more.
Weight loss will greatly help her gait and the luxating patella.
Still has intermittant dire rears;
started her on plain yogurt (probiotics) today.
Ears are healing nicely; will continue Baytril BID.
Fecal exam shows negative for all parasites.
She let Dr. Frank examine her with no problem;
she is getting much better about letting me handle & medicate her, also.
CairnDaddy was allowed to clip away the overly-long
eyebrow over her good eye, so now she can see even better!
All in all, a good vet visit.
And she looked so nice with her new chile bandana!
For some reason,
Rico decided that he would ride home in the crate with her;
this is so unusual, as he becomes quite hysterial if we try to put him in a crate.
(Rico was in for a post-op looksee on his lower eyelid.)
