WHY? or HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?
We originally had two Cairns, Tula Marie & Bogie Sky . . .

. . . whom we loved so much that when we heard of another little girl Cairn (Sandie Mae) that was being abused, we asked if we could have her. They gave her to us and the poor thing was PATHETIC! After about a year of working with her, she finally turned around and became one of the family.

Unfortunately, when we took her for a routine dental cleaning, she died on the operating table. The dreaded phone call; we never really got an explanation of what happened; it "just happened."
After losing our baby (she was 1-1/2 years old), we felt such a void in our lives - we were all mourning her, even the dogs! That's when we decided to go on the search to find another Cairn in need. |
