At night, we let the dogs choose where they want to sleep;
Zooey, who'd spent the evening in the kneehole of my computer desk
while I was working on my computer, decided her "safe spot"
for the night would be CairnDaddy's nightstand.

She pushed his heating pad out of the nightstand . . .

. . . altho by morning, she was sleeping ON the [unplugged] heating pad.

Bailey, of course, was already snoozing on my bed;
Emmie was in her usual spot in one of her three dog beds in my room,
which is also where Zooey slept the rest of the weekend nights.

The next morning,
everydog lined up
for his/her brekkie;
we are VERY LUCKY
that there has never
been any food aggression
with any of our houseguests.

Ever since SweeTea
trained us to feed her
on the couch,
that's where she
awaits her a.m. & p.m.
"couch service"

Bailey, Zooey with Phoebe & Gipsy

After the dogs are fed and encouraged to use the potty pen one more time,
CairnDaddy & I have our toast & coffee on the couch,
because SweeTea won't eat unless she is sitting in between us.

Bailey wants to come on my lap. Who can resist this look? Not me . . .

When I'm in my office, Zooey is in one of the three dog beds;
as with the food, we never have aggression over dog or people beds,
nor with toys . . .

It seems strange to have an LBD (Little Black Dog) in the house again;
Zooey is very like Heather in looks and mannerisms.
She reminds me how much I miss Heather, Daisy2Legs (f/k/a Baby),
Buddy & Bonny.
