Next car stop: the cigar factory . . . actually, it was the store.

CUBA

We didn't go into the factory itself.

Entrance to the cigar store

Did I mention the cigar store
also sold RUM (bebidas)?

CUBA

Inside the store

CUBA

Myron explains cigars to clueless Noobs (us).

Myron is holding one of
Fidel's favorites,
a $65 Cohiba;
the more expensive ones
run to to $70 apiece.
It is commonly held to be
the cigar rolled specifically
for Fidel Castro.
Cohibas were originally offered
as gifts between
diplomats & heads of state.

CUBA

Katie, Cheryl, Billy and a few others just had to have
a sample of rum and one of their own Cuban cigars;
space is provided in the store just for such activity.

Billy

CUBA

Who's that!?! What's he holding in his hand?

CUBA

Despite photographic "evidence" to the contrary,
I didn't actually smoke a cigar . . . just had to get that photo.

CUBA

The proprietor was very gracious;
the women found him attractive too, I think

'Nother old car, this one a convertible.
