NOW PLAYING: HABANERA, from CARMEN
Georges Bizet

After two years of almost daily phone calls, asking for advice & suggestions,
all of which were ignored, I received a panic phone call three days before our wedding . . . May 2004.
I was to come immediately to Yuma to take care of my Mother,
as my Father was going into hospital and didn't plan on coming out alive . . .

Needless to say, I couldn't.
Luckily, he had the presence of mind to contact Catholic Social Services in Yuma
(which I had been suggesting since April 2001),
and my Mother was placed in Beehive Home,
under the care of Connie Morris & her staff.

In June of 2004, I made my first trip to visit Dity in her new residence.

I think Dity looks better & better, the longer she remains at Beehive.
She now eats at regular times, and gets her medications at the indicated times,
which she did not at home.
