NOW PLAYING: SONATINA NO. 1, FIRST MOVEMENT
Muzio Cleminti

Hangin' out at Beehive Home . . .

. . . eatin' lunch at IHOP,
wearin' some of her new clothes.

Aren't her nails lovely?
She loved the colored polish, but my father had the
staff of Beehive Home remove the polish as soon as
he knew I was no longer in Yuma.

COMMENTARY:

* This was the last time that she would leave Beehive Home with me.

* My Mother taught me to manicure my nails when I was 16 years old . . . and I've had polish on my nails almost every day since . . . how many bottles of polish & polish remover she & I have gone through in all those years! Her favorite was white with silver sparkles; my faves are different colors on each nail. When she saw that for the first time, she laughed & laughed . . . and wanted me to do hers like that, too! In hospital, no less. So I did.

All good things must come to an end, however . . .

Ph

. . . so I said goodbye to my Mother
and to Amalia, Manager of Beehive Home . . .

Ph

. . . and left my Mom eating her strawberries & yogurt.

Hard to believe that we were once the same size, isn't it?
