He sleeps in a crate at night, but would prefer being on the
bed with us (actually being right up between the pillows).
One of the JUNE pics shows him in the middle of the
"fluff" on the bed, as Clair calls it.
Doc walks well on a leash, loves walks and does well in a car.
He did test positive for whip worm before we got him;
he has been treated for that and has meds for that for
three months as a preventative. I checked with our vet,
who reviewed his medical records and said he did not
need to see a vet at this time.
He did seem to miss his former family at first,
but has adjusted very well here. The only negative,
if it's a negative, is that he can be somewhat of a picky eater.
He obviously has been fed people food and prefers it.
We have enjoyed all of our fosters and this one is no exception;
it seems like they just keep getting better. He is a prime
example of why foster homes turn into foster flunkies so easily.
Now, did we boast about him enough?
We can add more if you would like.
He is an outstanding dog and needs a very special home.
