EMMIE GOES HOME 14 FEBRUARY 2018
Sandy Check & Teddie (from Tampa, whose story is HERE) came to Palm Harbor to meet Emmie. Sandy with Panhandle Bonny (who also went to her Furever Home today); Daisy2Legs asks to be picked up The Meet 'n' Greet went exceedingly well, and so, as Teddie's Valentine's Day Gift, he received a new companion in his life.
Later in the day, Sandy writes: Home safe and sound . . . dogs rode well, relaxed . . . no problems. Just checking it all out! Next day: We had a good day . . . started with a walk and poopy business done. The dogs were here alone all morning . . . no issues whatsoever!Good start! 19 FEBRUARY: Emmie is doing great! No issues at all. She hesitates at the doggy door . . . waits for me to give her a little push through it . . . I don't know if it's a heavier plastic or what makes her do that. DOREEN MUNDIE: Wow . . . a good day in dog land . . . every dog deserves a forever home. MARILYN ROYLE: Such wonderful news! What a great match! ANITA CHAROCHAK: So happy for Sandy and Emmie! BOB ANDERSON: I think you and Emmie are going to miss each other very much . . . As a matter of fact, Emmie's personality is so strong that, even with FIVE dogs still in the house, it seems empty. Today (Monday, 19 February), as I walked through the living room, I thought I saw her sitting on the rocking chair she liked.
