2 JULY 2018

Due to unexpected health issues (Sandy's, not Emmie's),
Emmie came back into CRUSA today.

The first thing Emmie did was jump onto the back of a couch,
just as though she'd never left.
Of course, she'd been here for the Mini CairnFest in April,
so it's not like she's had a chance to forget us.

The only new dog is Gipsy; not only are the two of them the SAME COLOR,
they are already playing together!

We took her for a walk in the pool and showed her where the steps are;
Gipsy immediately dove in and wanted to play in the water.

Then we figured as long as she's already wet,
let's give her a medicated bath, as her allergies have supposedly returned
(as have four pounds of weight, lots of hair and an ear infection).

CairnDaddy Neal put down a towel for Emmie to dry off on . . .

. . . but what fun is that when there are dog beds . . .

. . . and a couch to ruckus on . . .

A NEW PLAYMATE! CAN I KEEP HER??
No, Gipsy . . . six dogs is quite enough.

Ph

My, what BIG teeth you have!

Ph

And a big back end, too!

Pillows tossed on the floor? Check. Couch cover made wet? Check. OK, I've done MY job of messin' up the house!

(It dawned on me too late that I should've been taking a video.)

So, this darling girl is again available for adoption.
She uses the doggie door; tends to bark unnecessarily,
but we'll work on that; is very affectionate and is always smiling.

She will be groomed this coming week; I plan to take her off Apoquel.
