FIJI

One of our divers; not certain of his name (there are 23 people; I know seven of them)

The big boat is crowded, but a smoother ride.
As I am one of the few people doing three dives today,
the first two will be on the big boat (Nami),
then I'll transfer to the smaller boat (Nami Lia Lia).

The marine life has been fantastic, but so have the currents!
The tide changes only an hour a day and the next HIGH TIDE
in Tailevu is at 10:15 a.m., which is 3 hr 58 min 31s from now.
(FINALLY, JUST ABOUT WHEN WE HIT THE WATER.)
So today may be a less "currenty" day.
The three days prior we were in the water before slack tide.

Low tide is 10 hours from now or after dark
(could be a good night for a night dive . . .
except at low tide there's a huge expanse of bottom exposed
across which I have to walk with a tank on my back).
