She goes in several times a day, dries herself by rolling on a big beach towel, THEN she gets into the lawn chair! She is just a hoot! Thinking about going for a swim . . . . . . which she does several times a day . . . OUR SWIMMER After making it around the pool . . . . . . she climbs out . . . . . . and after partially drying off, sits in her chaire . . . 	BONNIE BELK GRETCHEN In Memory of CALEB & PETE - with thanks to Airedale rescuers everywhere.
CALEB was a 110-pound Oorang Airedale I found in a classified ad. His owners (who had had other Airedales) had to find a new home for him because he scared their grandchildren, and he was tearing up their house! I brought him home when he was 11 months old. He had issues, and he was a challenge; but my heart broke when he died just before his 11th birthday after two years of fighting lymphoma. I knew there would never be an other dog for me than an Airedale. PETE. There was nothing but love in those eyes. We only had him for three years; we adopted him just before he turned nine when his original owner (and breeder) died unexpectedly. PETE was an AKC champion, and my champion, too. GRETCHEN was placed with us through ATCMW (AIREDALE TERRIER CLUB OF METROPOLITAN WASHINGTON, D.C.), as was PETE. We are waiting for a new rescue to join our family now.
