Lucky Dill, and several ethnic restaurants - Thai, Chinese, Hawaiian, etc., etc.
Located north is Tarpon Springs, with its famous sponge docks
and touristy downtown, and Greek parties and dances every weekend.
A few blocks east is Lake Tarpon; Tarpon Turtle is a lovely
Key West-themed restaurant right on the Lake.
Lots of water birds in the area, especially osprey.
Located south are dog-friendly Dunedin,
then Clearwater and famous Clearwater Beach
(Frenchy's on the Beach is a nice restaurant to watch the Sunsets from),
Tampa International Airport is a 30-minute drive; Tampa downtown,
Ybor City and St. Petersburg are less than an hour drive.
Honeymoon Island has a nice beach. Orlando is less than two hours away,
as are Sanibel and Captiva Islands. Key West is about eight hours south;
Fort DeSoto less than that and has a nice dog beach.
This is an ideal home for those who like to go out and do things;
low maintenance, located in the middle of everything,
yet situated in a secluded and safe cul-de-sac.
The amount of entertainment in this area is amazing; music,
Renaissance faires, plays, art fairs, Dali Museum, Museum of Photography, etc.
St Petersburg College is ten minutes north, as is the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art.
Oh, and the Palm Harbor Library is only a few minutes south, as is Ruth Eckerd Hall.
