First thing we did was bring the mini-van back to Enterprise and get this SUV . . .
Then we took a look at the house, which wasn't quite empty . . .
The (very dark) media room, which used to be a lanai
Another media console, complete with TV that no one wants
The only thing left to do with remaining stuff . . .
. . . and Neal helps speed along the process . . .
Between the LaQuinta in Clearwater and the house in Palm Harbor is a Rooms to Go;
we stopped in and bought a chair and two beds so we could sleep in the house,
and have a chair to sit on . . .
. . . we also purchased our living room furniture,
at Lender's Rattan and Wicker, although it has to be stored in the garage . . .
Couch, rocker/swivel chair, coffee table & two end tables, two pillows.
(NO, NOT THE LAMP!)
I had had delivered to the house a small table & chairs set,
and Neal put that together so we had a place for our computers . . .
I'd been looking for another Hyundai Elantra Touring like I have in WI;
as soon as Neal saw this one online,
we drove a few miles to New Port Richey to buy it . . .
(The RV will soon leave the property.)
It has a sunroof & heated seats . . . just what one needs in Florida!
I asked the salesperson, Christina, if she knew of anyone for painting the house;
she recommended Dan Helm. When I called him, turns out he and his Dad
are now in the renovations business, so they are doing it all. Good Karma!
From here on, I'm just loading up pics without too many captions . . .
there are way too many.
