HEATHER IS SCALPED

Early in the morning, we begin Heather's grooming . . .

Go ahead . . . laff. The worst part is that they never finish with me; I still have slippers!

They may look funny, but they are easier to rinse off after a trip to the beach,
AND if they get any fleas, they'll be easier to see.

JOE GRINDS THE DRIVEWAY

One of the driveway sections has risen (or another has fallen,
not that it matters), to the point that we are
constantly tripping over a two-inch rise,
so Joe brings out the big guns and sands down the difference.

I'm thinking to paint the driveway Blackberry,
to match the garage door. AFTER landscaping, that is.

You can also see that he dug out the azaleas from the front,
which he took home for his gardener to rescue, if possible;
the pittosporum and sago palms are temporary replacements.
