I'd ordered Tropical Piddle Pants for Rico, so I put the red one on Rosie . . .

Back to work . . .

SO MANY MIRRORS! Small bedroom closet doors: mirrored.
Hallway closet doors: mirrored.
Large bedroom closet doors: had been mirrored,
but were never put back up after the storage system was installed.
Neal's large bathroom: mirrored walls.
My small bathroom off master bedroom:
TWO mirrored medicine cabinets.

FLORIDA

So I have all the mirrors in the large bathroom removed,
and one of the two mirrored medicine cabinets from the small bathroom
installed there, solving two problems in one swoop.

FLORIDA

And no, we cannot obtain more of those colored artisan tiles,
so we eventually will have to come up with something else.
John loves to do tile work.

As I noted previously, there are only THREE ways to get outside:
the front door, the garage door, or the garage side door.
None leads directly into the backyard.

FLORIDA

So this is what I've really been looking forward to . . .
a sliding patio door directly into the back yard!

FLORIDA

Brad is newly-hired, and works his tail off . . .

FLORIDA

. . . being a musician himself,
he's the only one of the crew who 'preciates my music
(which ranges from Enya to Jimmy Buffett
through the classics to Hildegard van Bingen).

John is (rightly) proud of his work . . .

FLORIDA

AND THIS IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE FROM THE OUTSIDE!

FLORIDA

We soon discover that the yard is HOPPING with fleas,
so until I can purchase and spread Diotomaceous Earth,
dogs cannot go into the back yard. I've already found one flea on Rosie.

Windows covered in anticipation of painting . . .

FLORIDA

. . . which we will soon discover was a waste of time (and plastic) . . .

FLORIDA

. . . but who knew?

FLORIDA

Note the BLUE lights on the WHITE ceiling fan.

I'm sure you noticed the
HUGE BLACK refrigerator;
how could you not??
I replace it because:
1) it's HUGE;
2) it's BLACK;
3) with a bottom freezer,
my back hurts every time
I open the freezer drawer;
and 4) it doesn't work very well.

FLORIDA

As we rarely eat at home, a big refrigerator is not important . . .

FLORIDA FLORIDA

. . . altho I'm thrilled to have a (free) working ice maker . . .

FLORIDA

(doesn't take much to thrill me)

FLORIDA

and a kitchen skylight is nice, too . . .

FLORIDA

With LED lights,
it's bright enough
to read inside,
and the door will
NOT stand open.

All the mirrored doors will be replaced with bifolds . . .

FLORIDA

Tinkerbelle is still here . . .

FLORIDA

FLORIDA

. . . and Rico is hopin' Rosie won't want her dinner . . .

FLORIDA

AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN, RICO!
