EVENING IN THE DAINTREE

The evenings were glorious. Calm and soft,
no breeze, skin temperature . . . . Absolutely beautiful.

For anyone contemplating a visit to Oz, particularly Queensland, that region is a MUST SEE. We had a wonderful time of course, made even more memorable because of the people we spent time with, all of them experts in birds, animals and the rainforest.

Without that expertise, a visit to the area would be still a wonderful experience, but not at its most fulfilled.

And for us it was made possible because dear Lizzie flew down from Sydney to take care of WB and the As. She says it was a rest. LOL!

And today she flies off to USA again . . . .

Farewell Liz, have a splendid time!
Sue & The As (wot, she's gone again ????)

. . . and welcome to the MidWest USA - where it's 55 degrees and RAINING! Well, at least it isn't SNOWING and below zero, like last time!

Lizzie writes:

Yes - off again . . . this time tomorrow I should be saying, "Hello Miss Molly" again . . . oh yes, and Libby & Garry, of course. Looks like I'll have to get some pics of me in Chicago in the summer to Andréa.
