I was on the phone with the Adams . . . the lovely husband & wife who are fostering Gavin. While I was on the phone, I had an incoming call, so when I got off I checked and it was American Prioirty Parcel.
I called them back and they had called to tell me that Gavin was going out TOMORROW. I could barely understand what the agent was saying, so she put on a supervisor.
As it turns out, Gavin WAS on the plane and the agent messed up.
The reason this is so messy is because Clair & Anita Adams live in Wyoming - TEN hours drive away. They've been in SLC for four days waiting for this dog; there has been postponement after postponement and they've been just wonderful about it.
Anyway . . . at 2:21 p.m. CDT, Gavin finally left O'Hare Aireport to fly to Salt Lake City, Utah. DogSpeed, Gavin!
(Clair & Anita Adams drove from Wyoming to Missouri to adopt Niko (f/k/a Muriel) of the January 2007 FROSTY PAWS EXPRESS Rescue Mission, which can be seen
